Client

The Client is a web agency developing web applications, Desktop, Mobile and Rich Internet Applications and offering provision of ISP services such as Cloud Services, Dedicated Server, Virtual Server, etc.

Challenges

  • The client’s requirement was to develop a mobile app that targets people who are away from their family
  • Especially for people who need to overlook the activities of their family members and instruct to them for few things like reminding doctor’s appointment, asking about whether they had met the doctors, etc., with reminders, sending messages and so on.
  • There should be two roles in the app namely the Admin role and the Client role
  • Where the Admin should allow adding as much clients they want. The client role could receive the messages, reminders set by Admin.

What We Did

  • Our mobile app outsourcing team developed a feature rich mobile app as per the client’s requirement.
  • Admin would be notified when the client is online / offline. The client’s location would be updated to the admin to know where the client is.
  • Admin can send messages and set reminders for client. Also the client’s dashboard could be designed by Admin to have the selected widgets in the client’s home screen of the app.
  • Admin could create an address book containing normal contacts and emergency contacts.
  • The client’s battery status will be notified to the Admin. When they launch the app, they can activate themselves with a code which would be instructed by admin.
  • Clients can have the widgets Date and Battery which updates the current date and battery status of client in mandatory.
  • The other widgets like address book, contact as a widget, Emergency call widget, Messages widget would be displayed based on the Admins choice while designing the Client’s dashboard.

Benefits

  • App let the users to play either admin or client role.
  • Admin users can create a list of users whom they wish to track over.
  • Client users can make emergency calls, where the calls will be automatically placed to a list of contacts added by admin till some contact answers their call when they are in some emergency.
  • Also the client users could be notified with a warning message by admin when their battery gets drained.
