The Client
The client is a young entrepreneur who is into social networking with three important areas for users. Users can share, connect, interact with others via these three areas, for multipurpose requirements like connectivity, business, entertainment etc.
Business Requirement
The client wants to launch a social media app which will includes news feeds (public, friends, group), Messenger (direct message, group, Wi-Fi messaging), New Cinema Reviews and Trailers, Raise an Issue and sharing moments with friends. In this app the Messenger feature is considered by the client to be the most powerful and user engaging one.
Solution Provided
The team implemented the messenger module in the app. This module has the following features- Users can send and receive the text, image and video message, within the interactive chat page.
- Private chat: A user can select a friend from friends list and start the chat. The selected user receives the notifications and can reply instantly to the respective users.
- Group chat: A user can create a group and add other users as a member of the group. Any member can send messages to the group created.
- Wi-Fi Messaging: In this feature, a user can connect others nearby. Users without internet, using swift and start a direct chat to send and receive text, image and video message instantly.
